Here's a pair of new AMD-based laptop for business applications – the HP Compaq 6535b laptop and the HP Compaq 6735b laptop. Measuring in at 14.1 and 15.4 inches respectively and starting at just 4.5 pounds, this dynamic duo comes outfitted with a choice of AMD Turion X2, X2 Ultra, or Athlon X2 processors, complemented by ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics, up to 3GB RAM with support for a possible 8GB, up to 160GB HDD, and should you desire, the DVD burner can be replaced with an optional second hard drive.

The laptops come with multiple wireless options including broadband wireless, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. To top it off, these laptops are also ENERGY STAR qualified. The new 6535b and 6735b laptops are available now at a starting price of $779.

HP’s new Pavilion tx2500z Tablet PC, based on AMD Puma mobile platform, is now available for purchase. The tx2500z convertible notebook includes a 12.1-inch 1280×800 touch-screen, AMD Turion X2 Ultra ZM processor, ATI Radeon HD 3200 integrated graphics, up to 4GB or DDR2 RAM, and up to 320GB of storage. There are also a built-in DVD burner, 802.11a/b/g/n wireless LAN, optional Bluetooth, web camera, and fingerprint reader
